Following on from releasing their self-funded sophomore EP ‘In Purple’ in late 2015, Northern Beaches-based psych/reggae-rock band, Ocean Alley, have just unveiled new single ‘Holiday’ lifted from their forthcoming debut album ‘Lost Tropics’ (due April 2016).
The summer-infused single ‘Holiday’ was recorded in Sydney at Jungle Studios with Callum Howell (Carmada, Smaal Cats) and takes cues from the likes of lo-fi surf-rock acts The Growlers, Allah-Las and Goons Of Doom.
Keeping in line with their hard work ethic approach to touring, the band has spent the last month traversing the East Coast, selling out multiple shows and performing at the sold-out Lost Paradise Festival.
Over the coming weeks, Ocean Alley will release an accompanying music video, announce New Zealand touring dates and perform at boutique festivals Party In The Paddock, Sweaty Palms and Mountain Sounds Festival.
‘Holiday’ is now available to stream via Soundcloud
